1.Where, oh where, oh where is HUTTO? Hutto is our new home and most have never heard of it, but it lies NE of Austin. It is a town of about 18,000. We have a Lowes AND a Home Depot, but no grocery store. (Go figure.) Our ward building is in the nearby town of Taylor and groceries are about 10 min to the west or south. I have yet to plan well enough that I don't have to go into some store once a day yet. I blame it on the moving thing:). Here is a map to help you see the lay of our land better...
2. Did you know that there really is a "round rock" in Round Rock, at a cool park. The water does great things to the river beds here and we had fun walking this park!
3. What is the state flower of Texas????
4.We knew there wouldn't be mountains, but who said it was flat? This part of Texas is not flat! We had a blast hiking and exploring in the beautiful hill country at Inks Lake, NE of Austin.

Did you know that wild flowers and cactus can grow in great abundance so close together?
5. Guess what Blake was doing?
Photographing every flower he could find, and he took some beautiful photos!! We will post some if we can figure out how to get them off of his program:)
6.What happens when you haven't gotten out of the house for a while?
You can't get 20 feet on a trail without someone stopping to pick up a "really cool rock". (We decided that we need to spend more time out doors:).
When Grant told Jason that he was a good little hiker, Jason responded...
"It's because of my walking stick." ( he is truely Grandpa B's grandson! It made us smile!)
7. Is the lake water as cold as Idaho?
I don't think so :) especially in early April! Over all we had a great weekend, even fished a little (with Grant's luck) and the best part about it was... that we were together! We couldn't be more blessed! Life is good and Heavenly Father created an amazing earth for us!

Love the pictures. Have fun exploring your new home. Remember how when you first moved to Nampa you were back in Boise several times a week? It will get better.
