Watch out Texas here we come!!

Well we are on our way to a huge family adventure! Thanks to our amazing family and friends for all their help and generosity we took off from Nampa on Sat. with 2...yes 2 uhauls. (Mom and Dad Grant generously drove the 2nd truck for us) Many tearful goodbyes, 5 states and 5 days later we made it to this HUGE state! We tried to make it as fun as possible, but 30+ hours in the car together can only be so fun! We saw some cool things and learned our way around the Hampton Inn's continental breakfast. We were amazed as about 20 men/ym met us at our house the second we drove into town and had our trucks unloaded in an hour and a half! Thanks Taylor ward!! We enjoyed some time to visit and explore with Mom and Dad G for a while, but had to say the tough good bye, knowing now that we were all on our own! But life is good, and as we considered this crazy move, we knew that we would be OK as long as we all had each other!! We are getting all settled in and the kids have all started school and seem to be happy with their schools and teachers! We continue to feel very blessed!

Paige is 8!!!!
Our sweet Paigey turned 8 soon after we got here, so we made her day special to celebrate, with her favorite dinner of roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, lots of decorations, a 3 layer cake and the school icecream social. Then she had her baptizm just a few days later. We had just a small group, but it was very special and there was a sweet spirit!  That was a special day and she can now remember her first weeks in Texas were special ones! Paigey is a special girl. She is a pleaser and makes a lot of effort to make others happy. Paige loves to sing and make new friends. She is a peace maker and enjoys being silly! We love our Paigey!!
