At the beginning of the month our neighborhood brought in a snow machine and covered this hill for everyone to pay $5 dollars to sled down. We didn't mention it to the kids, and as we were driving out of the neghborhood that day we drove past, and instead of wanting to go, Megan's comment was, "That's lame." We all had a good laugh and remembered all the fun sledding days on Grandma and Grandpa B's hill...which were WAY more fun.
It was a normal crazy busy December that started with a fun family friend's b-day at and inflatable place for the little kiddos. They had great costumes at this place and Jason waited patiently to wear the Mario costume, and was thrilled to do so! Then he got these lovely teeth from the school prize box and had to remember Grandpa Grant in his lovely teeth!
Paigey had a feild trip to see the Nutcracker, Megan had her "Holiday Program" (that Grant thought almost missed the most important holiday of all) and she did great!!:) Blake had a trip to the temple in San Antonio to do baptizms for the dead and I had the night parade in Pflugerville with my cub scouts.

Then our real Christmas season began with a visit to the coolest live nativity ever. It wasn't just a nativity, but an entire constructed town of Bethlehem that is in a town about 45 minutes from us. We joined up with an awesome family, the Clements, in our ward, and made pizzas before heading out to the "town of Bethlehem". The Clements have older kids, and it was great fun to see Blake get to interact with the older crown, unlike so many of our loved friends that have younger kids. They are a great family and good examples for all of us! We love the Clements, and thank them for their friendship!
Waiting in line to enter the city...yes there was a line and a LONG one at that. It wrapped around an entire block or more. It was also one of the coldest evenings we've had:) Just not Idaho cold.

Needless to say, it was a great evening, doing good things, with great people, and got us all in the Christmas spirit.
