We only got about 3/4 of an inch, but it was enough to shut everything down for the day. Lucky for the kids, it was almost all melted by afternoon and they had the whole day off of school to play, play, play!!
The kids used everything they could find as sleds.
Our driveway has a pretty good slope and made for a good sledding hill.
The neighbor tied an extention cord to a swimming tube and gave Megan a good pull down a driveway...fun till it popped:)!

Nothing like Idaho snow, but enough to help us feel like we've had some winter. Now we've enjoyed the 50-60 degree weather that the last few days have brought!

The driveway sledding looks fun! We got 2 snow days from that storm as well. It took us awhile to dig out of the 20 or so inches and 5 foot snow drifts that we got. How exciting to get snow in Texas! Looks like you guys are doing great.
