Look who came to visit!! Baby BECK!!! Of course he brought along his mom, (my sister Katie) and Grandma and Grandpa too, but he was the highlight of course! They all came and spent the first few weeks of June with us! What a blast!
It was sure fun to have everyone here to visit!! We loved every minute of it and loved having a little one around again! With the 100+ degree weather, it was a bit hard to find things to do, but we played none the less! Grandpa and Grandma brought the kids a really cool gift!! Each of them got a hand spun, glazed and carved mug, each uniquely different.
The girls said "I am a Daughter of God" and had the YW emblem, the temple, and the Angel Moroni, and a young girl standing in front of a mirror on them.
The boys said "I Hope They Call me on a Mission" and had ties, the temple, someone being baptized, and the Angel Moroni. They are BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!!
We hit a Round Rock Express Game at Dell Diamond, and sweat to death, but had fun!
The kids all had a ball playing with little Beck, as well as Grant and I! And getting Beck to smile was never a hard thing! What a happy baby! Loved it!!
Aunt "T" (my sister Katie) took the kiddos to the pool several times...
Beck got to meet Adrian, who was born on the same day! One of my coworkers had this cute chubby man and I got to watch her go through her whole pregnancy, comparing her and Katie the whole way. I think it was Heavenly Father's way of helping me get through not being able to be there with my sister as she went
through this.
Everyone took a turn feeding Beck.
And he smiled some more!:)
We visited the children's musuem., and Megan did a monster Lite Brite, and Jason and Paige sent golf balls flying down the tracks.
The girls sang in a Mariachi band. (This is my favorite picture)
T& Beck
Sliding...
Jason built with mega Tinker Toys
T shared her musical talent with Beck on the pipes
Grandma helped the girls get creative at the recycled art station
Blake found some pigs on parachutes to entertain him.
This is how all the boys felt by the end...
Then we headed to Rudy's for some mean Texas BBQ.
We all showed our carnivorous side except for Beck who had...
SQUASH!! (and still wowed all the passers by with his smile:)
More great smiles!!!
Blake got to go with Grandma, Grandpa, T and Beck to Oklahoma to visit my brother Nick and his wife, Tiffany. He had a blast and took lots of pictures, so we will blog these in a seperate post since this one is already too long!:)
I got to give Beck his first big haircut!! Talk about pressure! At least his smile's so cute, if I messed up it made up for it!
We hit the thrilling Pflugerville Lake beach, to cool us off!
Dig Jason's goggles?
Blake taught Beck some things about being a boy as they chased the ducks!
Mom and Dad were an amazing blessing and helped out in many ways while I was at work with grocery shopping, entertaining, cooking, cleaning and all the like!!
We all had a blast and were sad to see them go, but were so thankful that they took time out of their lives to come and visit us!! It was great getting to know little Beck and to reconnect with every one. Next time we hope Kyle can join them! We love visitors, and we love family!! Thanks guys, for a great visit!!
